The name of a successful icon of a patriotic businessman is Mashrur Chowdhury, who has not only firmed up his position by dint of honesty, sincerity and labor at the same time thought to enrich the economy of the country. He is one of a few patriotic business entrepreneurs who are continuously working with sincerity to motivate the overseas Bangladeshis, especially those who are living in United States and United Kingdom, organising them and inspiring them for the great cause of investment in Bangladesh.

Very meritorious Mashrur Chowdhury accomplished Masters and Honors from Dhaka University. Later receiving ‘Institutional Development Scholarship’ of Ford Foundation he left for Business School of famous Manchester University of Great Britain for higher studies. There   he obtained higher degree in Management. Though the start of his career was by joining BRAC, a NGO later he took up the helms of his family business as Managing Director of “Farrookh Chemical Industries”. Area of business stretched in succession due to   his skilled management and competent leadership. Later he established two manufacturing units, Crystal Chemicals and Crystal Corporation. This farsighted man realized that economic prosperity is the prime entryway to the development of any country. And to enrich the economy of the country more and more investments are required. And in order to transform into reality that intellect he did not choose any foreign enterprise but rather he preferred scattered Bangladeshis abroad those who can not invest in country despite their keen interest due to lack of appropriate field. In order to make use of overseas Bangladeshis in their home country as industrial entrepreneurs he established ‘Nandan Group of Companies’. Unique contribution of that group is ‘Nandan Park’ established at Savar a not too far location from Dhaka. A self sufficient family entertainment center equipped with most modern equipment in Bangladesh. Mr. Chowdhury was extensively discussed and praised for accomplishing such a grand arrangement completely out of his own initiative. Moreover country’s biggest mega shop ‘Nandan Mega Shop’ was established under this group in capital’s Gulshan which is planned to be scattered around the city covering all the snobbish areas of the city one by one.  Another project is going to be included in the list of accomplishments of Nandan Group where the process is going on to produce and export best quality Organic Tea to United States and Britain. This creative and entrepreneur personality received from Arthokatha best entrepreneur personality Award of the year 2003 and received nomination for best business personality Award of the year 2006.
