Mr. Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) is a visionary business leader and successful entrepreneur of Bangladesh. He is known as the business icon and role model of the business community with extensive areas of activities in various fields of business. He is playing a very important role for development of private sector of the country with his vibrant and dynamic leadership. 
Mr. Mohiuddin has the rare distinction of leadership as the President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI), the apex trade body of Bangladesh representing 35 million business personalities.  
He led the RMG sector of the country over thirty years and became the President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), the largest export earning sector of the country. 
He is proactively involved with different international and regional business organizations and contributing for regional economic integration. He is the Executive Committee Member of SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SAARC CCI), the Apex regional Trade Body of SAARC countries and Governing Body Member of Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce (SRCIC). He is also involved with the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC), One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative,  etc.    
He is representing the private sector in different Government and Semi Government organizations of the country. He is the Directors of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA), Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA), Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Ltd and Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI), etc 
Mr. Mohiuddin had led the business delegations different part of the world.  
Mr. Md. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin led the export oriented RMG sector. Since he started his export oriented garments industry named Onus Group, the largest export earning sector of the country.  He has also successfully diversified his business in other business sectors like Garment Accessories, Real Estate, Shipping, Fishing Trawler, Dredging, Solar Energy, Auto Bricks, Handicrafts, etc. He has currently employed over six thousand people in his business group. 
Besides business, he is actively involved in the social activities and holds positions of different social organizations. He is the Director of Trustee Board-BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). He is also the Vice President of Society for Anti Addiction Movement (SAAM), Vice President of Centre of Excellence for Bangladesh Apparel Industry (CEBAI) and Vice President of Rugby Federation. Director of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Director of BGMEA Apparel Club and many more. 
Mr. Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) obtained B.Com (Hon’s) M.Com degree in Accountancy. He married to Mrs. Leesa Khalid Islam and is blessed with three daughters and one son. 

Abdul Matlub Ahmed


Abdul Matlub Ahmad is an entrepreneur, versatile industrialist and the prime conglomerates a firm believer of national development, economic growth through industrial revolution and creating employment opportunity for ever increasing head counts. It has spawned many new employment, business opportunity like Nita Joint Venture, Nitol Cement, Nitol Insurance, Nitol Leasing Company, Niloy Hero Motors, Nitol Curtis Paper Mill, Kaliachapra Sugar Mill etc. that has widen business and employment opportunity in the country as a whole.

b. He had the privilege and honor to be a member of Honorable Prime Minister’s entourage during her Bangladesh Business delegation trip to Tripura (Agartala, India (from 11 -12 January 2012.

c. Participated in India Invest-trade (special focus on Energy Sector & Electrical Equipment in Ruposhi Bangla Hotel, Dhaka in May 2011.

d. Led Business Delegation to Hyderabad, Mumbai, Poona and Kolkata 2008-2009.

e. Participated as the Co-Chairman of Task Force Meeting on Bilateral Trade between Bangladesh and India held on 20' June, 2006, 2007,2008

f. Participated in the INTERCEM ASIA (9th International Conference on Cement) in New Delhi in September, 2005; INTERCEM AMERICAS in Florida in November, 2005; INTERCEM MARRAKECH in Morocco in February, 2006; INTERCEM 20th ANNIVERSARY LONDON 2006 in June, 2006; INTERCEM DUBAI Conference held in February, 2007 and Participated in 9th Asia Cement-Trade 2007 Conference in Hanoi, Vietnam in April, 2007.

g. As leader of Bangladesh delegation he participated in World Islamic Economic Forum held on 27-29 May, 2007 in PWTC, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

h. Participated in the OIC Conference in Malaysia as a member of the delegation from FBCCI in June, 2005.

i. Led Business Delegation to Meghalaya on 20' June & Mizoram on 22nd June, 2006 on Purchase, Investment & Trade Issues.

j. He is also known for his sporting achievement; a keen promoter of sports, his contribution for development of games & sports in Bangladesh is commendable. For example, he sponsored – NITOL-TATA National Football League for the year 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2014.

Besides his number of other social activities, he is actively involved and very much concerned with environmental pollution to keep the world safe and secure place for the future generation. The first time car rally has been sponsored by him in the year 2014 in Dhaka and also the 2nd Car Rally has been sponsored in this year 2015.

Mr. Matlub Ahmad born in 1952; Graduation B.A. (Hons.) and M.A in Economics from world’s most reputed Oxford University. He is happily married to Selima Ahmad winner of Oslo Business for Peace Award and is blessed with two star boys- upcoming business leader of the country, Abdul Musabbir Ahmad (Nitol) and Abdul Marib Ahmad (Niloy) & 4 Grandson from Abdul Musabbir and Nazia - IMAAN, AMEEN, AMAAN & USMAAN
