In a special interview with Arthokatha, Yussuf Abdullah Harun told in our country price of consumer goods is an important matter.35% of people of the country lives below poverty line. A bigger portion of the population belongs to lower income and middle income groups. Government’s continuous attention is required towards control of price inflation for economic security of these people. For the need of control of price level a subsidy of Tk.2-1000 Cr. can be arranged. For this purpose it is vital to use institutions like TCB and SKS. From his long experience as a businessman, Yussuf Abdullah Harun realizes in an incomplete market that of Bangladesh it is not possible to sustain stability without the assistance of Government. Maintaining private sector in focus, Government’s continuous support can play significant role in attaining economic stability. According to him though the governmental steps to bring discipline in economy and administration  brought some difficulties, ultimately these steps will yield good outcome.

Harun says foundations for establishment of good governance and prosperity, laid by the present Government led by Sheikh Hasina Wazed will usher in a row of sustainable change. People of the country will be benefited out of this in true sense. Harun has exceptional support outside the area of business. This business leader was untiring in his endeavor to grow up as a complete man. Yussuf Harun was honored from Arthokatha a number of times.
