Dewan Mujibar Rahman was born on 7th January at an aristocratic Muslim family of Habiganj in the year 1954.Not only in professional life but also in educational life this banker personality left imprints of accomplishments. He received SSC in the year1968, HSC in the year 1970 under Comillah Board and B.Com degree under Dhaka University in the year 1973.Later in the year 1976 he obtained MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration of Dhaka University. In the same year in the month of September he started his working life as Senior Officer of Agrani Bank. In the year 1979 he was promoted to the position of Principal Officer. Later in the year 1985 Senior Principal Officer, in the year 1989 Asstt. General Manager and in the year 1994 he got promoted to the post of Deputy General Manager. In the year 1997 he took the responsibilities of International Division as Division Chief. In the year 1999 he joined Basic Bank Limited, after getting promoted as General Manager. Here in sequence of unexpected success he was promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director, joined Janata Bank in April of the year 2003.In September of 2004 about at the end of one and half years he joined in the position of Managing Director of Karmasangsthan Bank. By keeping imprints of accomplishments at every field of professional life, in this way Mr. Dewan Mujibar Rahman came on to the top. He raised himself on to the top position, by proving his skill in almost every branch of banking. This competent banker traveled different countries including China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, India, and America due to professional needs.
